TENSION // PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Effective September 5, 2026 for version 1.0 (build 14) and later, including TestFlight builds. Build 13 and earlier remain covered by the policy effective August 14, 2026.

Information used by the game

Where leaderboard data is stored

Apple Game Center stores the worldwide gate score. For the in-game world, country, and city rankings, Apple CloudKit stores your Game Center display name, a one-way hash of the Game Center player identifier, region code, optional city, best gate count, best survival time, and last-update date in a public leaderboard database.

This information is used only to operate and rank the leaderboards. Other players can see the display name, score, country code, and optional city shown in those rankings.

Advertising and consent

The free version uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Build 14 requests non-personalized advertisements with advertising personalization disabled in the app. Ads may use context such as the app and IP-derived approximate location, rather than your past activity across other companies' services.

Advertising still involves data processing. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and ad availability, Google and its advertising partners may process app- or device-related identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad interactions, product interactions, advertising data, crash information, performance data, and other diagnostics to deliver and secure ads, limit repetition, and produce aggregate reports. Non-personalized ads do not mean that no information is collected.

Where required, the app presents Google's consent form before requesting ads and provides Privacy Choices inside the Remove Ads screen. Your choices may restrict advertising or make an advertisement unavailable; you can keep playing either way. TENSION does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. The app's own code does not request Apple's advertising identifier, and Google's publisher first-party identifier is disabled in the app.

After every third completed attempt, once all gameplay touches are released, the game opens an interstitial break. If an advertisement cannot be shown, a status screen lets you continue. The completed-attempt count persists between app launches. The one-time Remove Ads purchase disables future interstitial requests and removes both advertisements and these status breaks while your purchase entitlement is active.

Any third-party service provider that receives data from the app is required to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy and required by applicable law.

Google's own privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Remove Ads purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. The developer does not receive your payment-card or bank-account details. Apple provides the app only with the information needed to verify and restore the entitlement.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete the app or replace the relevant setting. Game Center and purchase records are retained by Apple under Apple's policies. The regional CloudKit leaderboard keeps one current best-score record per Game Center player.

To request deletion of your regional leaderboard record, email marek.rolko@gmail.com and include your Game Center display name and optional city. Requests will be verified before deletion. You can change your consent choices in the app whenever the Privacy Choices option is required and available.

Children and changes

TENSION is a general-audience arcade game and is not directed specifically to children. The policy may be updated when the app or its service providers change. Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date and the app versions they apply to.
